In November 2021, we participated in the seminar "Music, health and policy" with a couple of our dances who, among other things, talked about how music and dance can be used as tools to meet new people and feel a sense of belonging. The seminar was organized by the University of Bergen, the Grieg Academy and Hyssingen Production School.

“JUNG DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC”
When the pandemic happened in March, all activities were postponed. To keep the dance environment alive, JUNG decided to arrange ‘Open Dance Praining’ digitally on Zoom. Some chose to take their mobile phones out to the park and participated from there, while others set up the PC at home and danced from the living room. JUNG has received funding from Sparebanken Vest's 'Koronafond'.

JUNG X CARTE BLANCHE
In January 2020, JUNG were invited by Carte Blanche to further develop Jungelen Ung at KODE 2, where Carte Blanche ran the open space ‘Verkstedet’. Here JUNG held weekly workshops in dance, DJing and music production - in addition to ‘Open Dance Praining’ on Sundays. JUNG and Carte Blanche also collaborated on the dance workshop with the French dancer Mab’ish.

JUNG X BERGEN ASSEMBLY
In August 2019, JUNG was invited by Bergen Assembly to run Jungelen Ung (which was then only a project) at KODE 2 - where Bergen Assembly ran the open space ‘Belgin’. JUNG held weekly workshops in dance and dj’ing + ‘Open dance training’ on Sundays from August to November 2019.
